Choosing to Read

Just finished a very interesting read by Daniel Pink called, Drive. The focus of his book is surrounded by what “drives” our motivation to do something. Are we intrinsic (Type I’s) or extrinsic (Type X’s). I would like to evaluate three key thoughts in his book over the next three post. These thoughts center around those things Type I individuals seek in the work place and life in general. Daniel states there are three key factors which motivate type I’s. Autonomy to complete the task, Mastery of the task, and that there is a greater Purpose to the task.
